Chest exercise machine

Chest muscles (Pecs - pectoralis major and minor) are used in arm pushing exercises. Typically pushups, barbell, bar and weights work - bench press (like upside-down push-ups). Cable work on exercise machines can be easily and safely graduated. There are a number of dumbell chest exercises that by by lying at diffenet angles use upper, lower and inner pectoral muscles to develop a broad chest region.

Leg machines

Leg Muscle Workouts

Thighs / Quads (Quadriceps) are the set of muscles that make the upper leg form. The Vastus femoris, lateralis, medialis and intermedius are developed using resistance extending (kick) and standing (squat) exercises. Calf muscles are many and require stretches, and tiptoe type exercises. Skiing and football will improve stamina and toning and leg toning must be done together with lots of cardiovascular work and stretching exercises.

Arm building equipment for all arm muscle groups - triceps, biceps, brachialis and forearm Flexors.
Most initial programmes start with at least two exercises targeting triceps and biceps. As your workouts progress you may wish to add more arm exercises for increased results. Use barbell, dumbell and hammer curls for biceps, and rowing or pullups for stamina. Tricep exercises include pushups, pushdowns, dips, bench and shoulder presses.
